MarketOne was approached by Salesforce to be a silver sponsor of Cloudforce, Japan’s Business Event of the Year, last week in Tokyo.
More than 10,000 people attended the event on December 6th at Tokyo Big Sight. “We’re in the midst of a social revolution,” said Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO, salesforce.com. “At Cloudforce Japan, we showed how our customers are using social technologies and transforming the way they sell, service, market, collaborate and innovate to drive business growth.”
The event has a big following from the marketing community. The MarketOne booth was swamped by marketers excited to learn more about the marketing automation tool, Eloqua.
Head of Technology & Data Services for the region, Warren Everitt, was really impressed with the event: “When we decided to sponsor Cloudforce, we were unsure of the value it represented. While sales force automation has been established in Japan for many years, marketing automation is still a really new concept for the market. We couldn’t believe the level of interest. Among more than 100 other cloud computing companies – many offering live demo’s – our booth was undoubtedly the busiest. Marketers are embracing the transformation from traditional marketing efforts and we are very excited about our future in Japan”.
